# Cordial 0.32.0: you can see what you type on X11

## What you can do now

* **Text boxes work on X11.** What you typed used to reach the game without
  being shown until the box lost focus. A small window now sits over the focused
  box and shows the text, the same kind of editor Wayland has, with selection,
  non-ASCII text, multi-line boxes and Enter. Tried under openbox, xfwm4 (with
  and without its compositor), icewm and Xwayland, all signed out.
  `CORDIAL_X11_EDITOR=off` goes back to the old behaviour.

## What is still broken

**The X11 editor is untested on KWin, GNOME's X11 mode, tiling window
managers and in a signed-in chat box.** After resizing the window or going
fullscreen it can sit in a bar near the bottom until you click the box again.
Please report what you see.

**The signed-in startup freeze.** Roblox can stop drawing on the loading screen
after sign-in. The launcher restarts a client stuck that way, up to twice
([#92](https://github.com/luohoa97/cordial/issues/92)).
